Visions - the first movie produced by px-studios.org. Written, directed and edited by Christian Leise, aka V37. Filmed in a week of school, 8+ hours a day. We worked very hard to achieve this short movie that you can download here. The movie runs about 35 minutes. Story details can be watched here.

Most parts of this movie still look too amateur-ish, but what can you do - with the resources we had, I think we did very good. Sound was messed up due to no actual microphone guy running around and recording a clear signal, in the 6 days we shot, we filled 12 tapes, each with 1h material - and killed most of my brain cells (they grew back though).

No actor in this movie is a professional one, which is allright, but causes many outtakes and few usable takes. We shot the movie February 2006, I edited it, and the alpha version was done in April 2006. Since I lost interest and hope in this ambitious project of mine, nothing happened for almost a year. When I applied at university earlier this year (2007), I took 3 weeks to re-edit everything, threw away old project files and just started over from square one. I am now very pleased with it - I made the effects in the video by myself, with Premiere 2.0 Pro or After Effects 7 Professional, and although it was hard work - I think I must've spend at least 100h editing this the second time - it's off my mind now and can actually be shown to people.

I encourage you to criticize as much as you can and want to, but please don't think I will change even one second of this movie. I'm not saying that because I think it's perfect, but only because I really couldn't re-do anything in it anymore. What I do admit is that I used a little too much music, but what can I say - covers up the sucky sound... Also feel free to question me about how I did what, as much as you want to! ~ V37
