The Scarf
2006

The actual idea for "The Scarf" came to me when we were sitting in computer class, bored out of our minds, again. We were supposed to make "anything" with "any program", basically it was 8 weeks of free time, but we had to deliver something at the end. So in the last week of former 8, bored again, we had to do something (we because it was a group project). A few days before that, Joey (Vegeta119) had send me the song "Yakety Sax" from Boots Randolph.... so in the moment of desperation, facing 0 points, we left the room, took the camera, I closed my eyes, and the first thing I could come up with was that we could chase a scarf, Charlie Chaplin like.

So we did this, filmed Scarf 1 within one lesson, I edited it the same day, and everybody loved it. I like people smiling because they saw something I made / was involved in. There wasn't much editing to it either, but what do you know, it turned out absolutely right. This was done in February 2006, Scarf 2 was shot almost a year later, in December 2006. The technical term for our facial expressions is called "spackig" over here. Enjoy ;)
